This spring, our academic and administrative stuff paid a 14-day visit to Scuola Waldorf Steiner Firenze, the Waldorf School in Florence, Italy. This was part of an Erasmus + exchange programme for mobility and training within the European Union.
Scuola Waldorf Steiner Firenze was established more than 20 years ago. We were excited to visit this school with such solid experience with Rudolph Steiner’s education principles in the beautiful city of Florence.
Time passed by quickly. We guest visited the classes of our Italian colleagues, and we even led some of the classes to demonstrate our school’s approach. We discussed the problems for running a Waldorf school, and exchanged a variety of creative solutions.
We are grateful for the opportunity to learn new things first hand from our colleagues.
